Cast iron
The tree grate consists of cast iron parts that can be applied in a grid of 400 x 400 mm to any size. The grate surface is not only suitable for urban environments, it is suitable everywhere where it is necessary to combine retention beds and walking areas.
Ring
The system allows the assembly of a tree grate, gangway, or even a grate surface; it also offers assemblies of many shapes. For example circles, ovals, or waves. The diameter of the central hole can be adapted to the age and size of the tree.
Style
The grate is covered in a pattern with 1.2 cm wide openings according to Czech standards. The cast iron is surface-treated, ready for the application of any colour.
Combination
Grates can be combined with other Capacity System products. The grate enables the placement of a drinking fountain, bin, or bench on a column leg directly within the grated area.
Water retention
The grate system enables the assembly of gangways and pedestrian areas above the level of the retention bed, thanks to which the lowered rain bed is not a barrier in the public space, but a functional part of it.
Durability
The cast iron grate is very durable and stable over time. Individual parts in the surface can be left open as inspection holes.
